Ryan Taylor is a director, cinematographer, photographer and filmmaker based in the perpetual winter of Minneapolis, MN. He shoots all manner of things, mostly action sports, and is as comfortable with a Nikon stills camera in his hand as he is with a fully rigged motion camera.
Ryan strives to create something new and unique every time he shoots. This often means implementing new lighting techniques as well as working with athletes to think of creative ways to showcase their sports. This has led to projects involving a giant wakeboarding rail carved out of ice, snowboarding in a cornfield, BMX in an abandoned football stadium, and sending wakeskaters through a field of cranberries.
Ryan has been shooting for Red Bull for 8 years.
